    In the Bible, the term “set apart” means to be marked as Yah’s, to be designated for His service. Those who are set apart fulfill Yah’s law of exclusivity. As a result, those who are not set apart are lawless and do as they please. But those who are set apart remain within Yah’s possession and serve him faithfully.

    Romans 12:2

    The phrase “set apart” in the Bible describes those who are set apart from the pattern of this world. This includes not conforming to the patterns of this world, and accepting and demonstrating God’s will. For example, verse 11 says, “Those who are in the new covenant have their hearts opened to the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
